Oct. 13, 2026 By Gabrielle Russon About 2,200 people have visited the first-ever pumpkin patch that s sprouted up by Winter Park City Hall. Volunteers from schools and local businesses have picked up 150 shifts to help run the patch that will stay open through Oct. 25. The proceeds will benefit the Park Avenue District which supports small businesses and promotes the shopping and restaurant hub, said Allison Chandler, the district s executive director. The new activation is part of the Park Avenue District’s growing investment in experiences that bring the community together, support local businesses and create new traditions while preserving the character and charm of Park Avenue, the organization said in a news release. The hours are 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Monday–Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
